Our Story

The vision for Casa Segura Peru began years ago, when our family first came to Cusco, Peru to help a missionary with children's ministry. Although we later had to return to Bolivia, the desire to return and serve the children of Peru never left our hearts. Since 2010, God placed a clear calling on our lives to create a home for children who needed love, care, and hope.

In 2019, a brother — the director of Casa Segura in Bolivia — shared the same dream of expanding the ministry beyond borders. Seeing this opportunity as God's timing, we moved to Urubamba, Cusco in May 2019, bringing only our clothes and our faith. Those early days were difficult — we had little more than an empty apartment — but God provided everything we needed, no more and no less.

After almost a year, we moved to Yucay, where we welcomed our first teenagers: Nilton, Dina, Esther, and Flor. Over time, the family grew to 24 children living under one roof, sharing meals, laughter, and everyday life together. Even when health challenges led us to move to Puerto Maldonado in 2023, and though we could only bring a few of the children with us, we trusted that God was still leading the way.

In Puerto Maldonado, with nothing but faith once again, God provided a piece of land — a new beginning. Little by little, the land was cleared, homes were built, and in January 2025, we moved onto the property. Today, the dream is still unfolding. We are finishing the family house, preparing to build a home for the girls, and continuing to trust God in every step.

Casa Segura Peru is just beginning, but it is already a testimony of God's faithful provision and the generosity of many hearts who have believed and walked alongside us. We know He is the one writing this story — and we are simply grateful to be part of it.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide a safe and loving home for children who are abandoned, at risk, or unprotected, offering them a family that provides care, education, and opportunities to grow in an environment of love and respect. We seek to help children know God's love voluntarily, without imposition, but through example and guidance.

Our vision

We dream of a world where every child has a safe, loving home full of opportunities. We aspire to be a reference in the comprehensive care of vulnerable children, promoting the development of children and adolescents who, with love, education, and values, can become responsible adults, committed to society, and with a heart that loves God.
