We are the Melgar Family

Founders of Casa Segura Perú a Christian, non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for children in vulnerable situations in Puerto Maldonado, Peru. Our mission is to offer them care, support, and the security that every child deserves.

From the very beginning, our family had the desire to serve and build a ministry for children. We are originally from Bolivia, but in God’s perfect plan, He opened the doors for us in Peru. We first began this journey in the Sacred Valley, but due to health reasons, we had to move to Puerto Maldonado. Now, we are in the process of building Casa Segura Perú a place where children can feel safe, loved, and supported. Though we are still under construction, we trust that God will continue to provide and guide every step of the way.
