Our Story

The vision for Casa Segura Peru began years ago, when our family first arrived in Cusco to help with children's ministry. Although we later returned to Bolivia, the desire to serve the children of Peru never left us. In 2010, we felt a clear calling to create a home for children who needed love, care, and hope.

In 2019, a close friend the director of Casa Segura in Bolivia shared the same dream of expanding the ministry. With shared purpose and a deep sense of timing, we moved to Urubamba, Cusco in May 2019, bringing only what we could carry and a strong sense of mission. Those first days were challenging an empty apartment, limited resources but little by little, the pieces started falling into place.

After almost a year, we relocated to Yucay, where we welcomed our first teenagers: Nilton, Dina, Esther, and Flor. Over time, the family grew to 24 children, living together, sharing meals, laughter, and everyday life. In 2023, a shift in our journey brought us to Puerto Maldonado, where we began again with just a few children and a new sense of purpose.

Starting from scratch once more, a piece of land became the foundation for a new chapter. Bit by bit, we cleared the land, built homes, and in January 2025, we moved onto the property. Today, we are finishing the family house, preparing a home for the girls, and continuing to move forward with hope and dedication.

Casa Segura Peru is still in its early days, but it already reflects the support, hard work, and generosity of many people who have walked alongside us. This is a story still being written and we’re grateful to be part of it.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide a safe and loving home for children who are abandoned, at risk, or unprotected, offering them a family that provides care, education, and opportunities to grow in an environment of love and respect. We seek to help children know God's love voluntarily, without imposition, but through example and guidance.

Our vision

We dream of a world where every child has a safe, loving home full of opportunities. We aspire to be a reference in the comprehensive care of vulnerable children, promoting the development of children and adolescents who, with love, education, and values, can become responsible adults, committed to society, and with a heart that loves God.
